CK Rail Ltd. (CatenaryKing Ltd when we started working with them) is a multidisciplinary engineering company that operates mainly in the Rail industry. The organisation specialises in Civil engineering, Construction, Design management, railway electrification and vegetation management services.
In 2020, CK Rail operated as a second tier supplier to Network rail The company made the strategic decision to improve their business model, expand their services and operations and increase their market share in the UK Rail sector within the next 12-24 months.
Customer Requirements
The company determined that they need a management system that enhances day to day operations, it is easy to use and is compliant to all ISO and Network Rail Standards. The main requirements were defined as follows:

Introducing
3 new key requirements
The global pandemic offered an additional challenge and introduced 3 new key requirements:
The IMS has to be available online,
Enable remote working, uninterrupted communications across multiple sites and streamlined operations at all management levels.
CK Rail staff
had to quickly become competent and capable in operating an online management system that introduced new processes and method of work
